Le Franklin is pretty much the epitome of a Belgian café. It serves cheap beers and a few snacks to the local clientele; they are somewhat forced to mix with the Eurocrats due to its location near the European Commission and Council buildings. A highlight is the pair of weird pinball bingo machines which you sometimes find in Belgian bars – the aim of which to fire your ball so it goes into the right numbered holes to get a line on your electronic card.
