Yeo’s started out as a soy sauce company in China, but moved to Singapore and began to diversify. They now produce a large range of other sauces, canned goods such as chicken curry, and Asian drinks. I particularly enjoy their ‘yeogurt’ drinks and lychee juice, but every now and then you see a slightly different option. New to their range is this hawthorn juice. Hawthorn is best known to me as a British kampung boy as a hard red berry you can throw at your mates which will leave a red stain, but it turns out we have a history of making it into jam and wine, while the Chinese have made tea and sweet flakes for many years. The juice is very refreshing, like apple juice with a little more sharpness and a redcurrant scent. I loved it.
