A mini-transfer today. Woodlands is a small chain of vegetarian Indian restaurants, I gather, with outlets in KL as well as this one on Penang (though not Bakti Woodlands, I understand). It’s a bit dark inside, but pleasant enough. There wasn’t any music playing which seemed strange for an Indian place like this.

The staff were fine, though it seems like they should write orders down, as on the first read back our waiter managed to get get every item wrong! He did deliver the right food though.

The food itself was pretty good but not great; there were some less common items as well such as heavily battered chilli bhajis. I can’t remember exactly what I had to drink, but the picture looks like curry lassi… The matar paneer was good; and the orange (coloured) coconut chutney was delicious – I spooned up the leftovers! I’d go back.
